Placed under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, the third edition of the National Colloquium on Geotechnics is fully in line with the national dynamic of scientific excellence, technological innovation and strengthening of territorial resilience.
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, and in partnership with the Public Laboratory for Testing and Studies (LPEE), the Moroccan Committee for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics (CMMSG), the Moroccan Committee for Geosynthetics (IGS Morocco), the Moroccan Association for Seismic Engineering (AMGS) and the Moroccan Association for Underground Works (AMTES) are once again joining forces to promote research, training and innovation in these strategic fields. They announce the holding of the 3th National Colloquium on Geotechnics will be held in Marrakech, Morocco at Hôtel Kenzi Rose Garden from 08th to 10th December 2026, themed: “Sustainable Geotechnics and Resilience of Infrastructure against Natural and Anthropogenic Hazards“.
Dedicated to geotechnics, underground works, the use of geosynthetics and seismic engineering, this scientific and technical gathering reflects the collective determination to consolidate national achievements, to anticipate the challenges posed by natural hazards — particularly seismic ones — and anthropogenic risks, and to position these strategic disciplines at the heart of sustainable development policies and the safeguarding of the Kingdom’s infrastructure.
The program of the conference will include: –
