Reinvigorate your knowledge about the IGS as President Sam Allen launches the first of our new '10 Minutes With…' video series.
The new resource is a spin-off of our '10 Questions With…' Q&A articles and offers the chance to hear a range of individuals speak about their ideas and involvement with geosynthetics and the IGS.
Following on from his recent mid-year message to members, Mr Allen recaps the IGS's aims and ambitions, talking about its structure and strategic aims. He gives an update on current exciting initiatives including the Sustainability Calculator, Geosynthetics Handbook, and Professional Development courses, and explains the purpose and power of IGS Chapters, and the value of IGS Young Members.
Mr Allen emphasises the importance of geosynthetics solutions in an environmentally uncertain world and appeals to members to work together and help spread the word about the power of geosynthetics.
The video is ideal for new and established members alike, and makes an ideal calling card for members to introduce the Society to associated industries and the wider public, so please share with your network.
